This information reflects current Dale Kietzman Academy(DKA ) policies, procedures, and practices and applies to all Students. All policies are subject to change without prior notice.

Dale Kietzman Academy is committed to the traditional values and content of biblical education. But, in this radically changing world, Dale Kietzman Academy is also committed to innovative approaches for students who live and work in a society very different than in past decades, who are accustomed to the unprecedented technological advances, who think and learn differently today, and who will do Christian ministry in this radically changing world.

HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

The concept for a “development” School originated in Cameroon, West Africa, where a highly successful training program in development methodology is being carried out in Dale Kietzman Leadership Centers. The two-year program is based on a community-level development project selected and carried out by each student over the period of study. These centers have received official standing from the Ministry of Education in Cameroon.

Now, Dale Kietzman Academy is launching a new, School-level instructional program that offers a full, four-year curriculum leading to a Bachelor’s degree as well as Master’s degrees and PhD’s.

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

The doctrinal position of Dale Kietzman Academy is historically that of Charismatic, evangelical Christianity. Dale Kietzman Academy rests firmly upon the integrity and inerrancy of the Holy Scriptures and, therefore, wholeheartedly accepts the great Doctrines of the historic Christian faith.

Traditionally, Dale Kietzman Academy graduates stand for these great truths, and it is the desire of Dale Kietzman Academy to continue to provide personnel for service in these ranks. Dale Kietzman Academy will maintain its theological position. To guarantee that Dale Kietzman Academy will maintain its theological position, each member of Board of Trustee, Faculty, and Teaching Staff is required initially and annually to engage in and subscribe to the above.

MISSION STATEMENT

Vision of Dale Kietzman Academy

To establish an innovative School of Theology with a Christian worldview and a culturally aware mindset designed for a varied community of ideas; to prepare students for careers in in-demand fields such as Education, Pastoral Care, Church Planting and Counselling. To accomplish this, DKA integrates biblical-centered education with practical career education so that graduates can succeed both professionally and personally.

Mission Of Dale Kietzman Academy

1. To train students to be leaders who seek to be influential agents of culture change, and to equip students to identify and address the causes of human problems, in order to promote lasting change.

2. To address the needs of working adults, as well as to equip all graduates to be not just employable, but to be job-creating entrepreneurs.

3. To develop field-based educational programs that integrate theory and practice, serving as a model for other educational institutions of similar purpose.

4. To serve as a vehicle for researching, integrating and disseminating information on global development.

Based on its Mission Statement, Dale Kietzman Academy endeavors to:

      • Instruct students in biblical knowledge based on the authoritative, inerrant Word of God.

      • Help students integrate biblical principles into the personal, social and professional areas of their lives.

      • Train students to communicate effectively to impact their world.

      • Stimulate within students a spirit of inquiry, investigation and critical thinking so as to equip them to be lifelong learners.

      • Equip students for various kinds of service in the context of the local church and other Christian ministries.

      • To challenge all students at the School to understand and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.

PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

The Dale Kietzman Academy is a Bible college; the Bible is the heart of the curriculum, in contrast to a program that is essentially philosophical or sociological. The absolute inerrancy and authority of the Scripture are paramount. Because we emphasize the primacy of the Word of God, we believe that the tools of exegesis are essential in preparing students for the ministry, so that they may become capable expositors of the Word of God.

The doctrinal distinctive of the Dale Kietzman Academy (see Doctrinal Position), rooted in a proper exegesis of the Scripture, are regarded as absolutes, and they are to be upheld as such by the faculty and communicated clearly to each student.

We are aware that teaching sound doctrine alone is not enough. This doctrine must be translated into practical Christian service. Therefore, our faculty must not only be highly qualified in academics and instructional methodologies, but they also must be excellent spiritual and moral examples.

Recognizing the limitations of a primarily academic setting, we seek to instill within the student a deep love for God and His Word, a heart for evangelism and missions, and the integration of biblical teaching and values into every aspect of life. We also believe that it is imperative for students to be involved in practical, hands-on ministry and mission to complement their School studies.

A primary goal of Dale Kietzman Academy is to provide quality collegiate education. The Dale Kietzman Academy is a Christian academic community in the tradition of evangelical institutions of higher education. As such, Dale Kietzman Academy continues the philosophy of education which first gave rise to the School, summarized in the following proposition:

God, the infinite source of all things, has shown us truth through Christ in nature, history, and, above all, in Scripture. Persons are spiritual, rational, moral, social and physical, created in the image of God. They are, therefore, able to know and to value themselves and other persons, the universe and God.

Education as the process of teaching and learning, involves the whole person, developing the knowledge, values, and skills which enable the individual to change freely.

Distinctives of the ‘Dale Kietzman Academy ’

Dale Kietzman Academy is dedicated to the following distinctive principles:

      1. Belief in the plenary verbal inspiration of Scripture resulting in an inerrant Word as it was originally given by God, and, therefore, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

      2. As an School that takes God‘s Word seriously, the Dale Kietzman Academy is committed to the training of men and women in the original languages of Scripture, so that they can read the original text of the Word. Along with this emphasis, attention is given to the study of Textual Criticism, so that the student can learn to make sound judgments about the original text of the Word. The Dale Kietzman Academy is also committed to instruction in the proper rules of biblical interpretation.

      3. Belief in the Great Commission as the mission of the Church. The Christian individually and in association with others, has obligations to function in all spheres of life by developing and practicing the full implications of the Christian world and life view in every human relationship and in all aspects of life and society under the Lordship of Christ.

      4. Belief in Dynamic Spiritual Living. A student must be walking in fellowship with God (the Holy Spirit) so that he or she can be taught by the Holy Spirit. The cultivation of the spiritual life is inseparably fused with the scholarly study of biblical and related subjects, thus providing an unusual classroom climate and a distinct theological education. All this is designed to prepare students to communicate the Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit.

      5. Belief in a Strong Commitment to Missions; Dale Kietzman Academy is firmly committed to promoting the missionary enterprise throughout the world. This Commitment is demonstrated in a variety of ways that provide exposure for students to the diverse nature of missions and the unique opportunities for career service in missions.

      6. Emphasis on the practical as well as the theological aspects of ministry. The Dale Kietzman Academy believes that learning ?how to minister is as important as learning what to minister, and therefore trains as well as instructs.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen (Mat.28: 19-20). 

Governing Objectives

A Biblical Worldview

Our intent is to graduate students who have developed a biblical worldview that enables them to be productive in all areas of life. Dale Kietzman Academy is committed to an educational approach that is culturally relevant and socially aware. The educational program is built on a philosophy of education that engages students in culture and society. Education at Dale Kietzman Academy demands experience and training in the real world as well as in the classroom; therefore, all programs require an extensive experiential component.

Graduates will be noted for their commitment to:

      • The Healthy Development of Relationships as evidenced in interpersonal, family, church, and social relationships that affirm the dignity of the individual and show sensitivity to diverse cultures and communities.

      • The Pursuit of Intellectual Excellence as evidenced by analytical and creative thinking, lifelong development of vocational skills, clear expression of ideas and appreciation of aesthetic values.

      • The Stewardship of God’s Creation as demonstrated in the practice of a healthy physical lifestyle and the wise management of the resources God has given us.

Learner Maturity

Education is the encouragement of a maturing process. Dale Kietzman Academy promotes increasingly greater responsibility on the part of students for their own learning. We recognize that students will not be under our instruction indefinitely. Our courses are designed to develop mature learners who are able to continue their development after graduation. This is often referred to as life-long, self-directed learning.

Goals for Our Graduates

The School seeks to educate Christian men and women in undergraduate and graduate programs to produce thinking Christians who:

      1. Engage the world of ideas

      2. Live with integrity.

      3. Reason logically.

      4. Exercise faith appropriately in the process of critical thinking.

      5. Use a broad range of investigative approaches.

      6. Communicate and defend ideas on the basis of evidence.

      11. Demonstrate competence in the set of knowledge, skills, and attitudes appropriate to their fields and levels of study.

      12. Demonstrate competence in written and oral expression, observing the conventions of their discipline.

Educational Outcomes For The Students

Each graduate of Dale Kietzman Academy will be able to:

      • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Scriptures, as evidenced by successful completion of the coursework within the program and improved scores on a standardized Bible test.

      • Define and systematically summarize one‘s theological understanding as evidenced by a comprehensive, personal statement of faith.

      • Present a reasoned defense of one‘s beliefs that is intellectually and rationally sound.

      • Apply biblical principles in his lifestyle and ministry internship.

      • Communicate effectively the Gospel through sermons, Bible studies, and/or witnessing, in the context of his gifts and calling, whether at home or on the mission field.

Educational Philosophy

Education at Dale Kietzman Academy is founded upon four basic principles:

      1. It is student-related. A student’s ultimate goal should be to find his or her place in God’s plan. Instruction is consistent with areas of knowledge needed to realize their God-given potential. Students are free to hold and express individual convictions and to think for themselves and to make intelligent decisions based on principles in God’s Word.

      2. It is faculty-guided. Students may receive guidance through classroom instruction, independent and self-directed study, counseling and informal activities, each of which requires the best in academic and spiritual preparation. Faculty members provide a model of Christian living and are expected to meet the life standards that flow from the teaching of Scripture.

      3. It is educationally balanced. Dale Kietzman Academy strives to maintain a balance between theoretical subject matter and application. Students are expected to acquire knowledge and master skills. They learn to make value judgments, develop a sense of responsibility, and to mature in every area of their personalities.

      4. It is practical. Opportunities to apply facts and concepts learned in the classroom are provided through a variety of field education experiences. Truths are taught through methods and resources that affect student attitudes and behavior and emphasize usefulness in the society as a whole.

Educational Values

In keeping with our mission statement and educational philosophy, the following values provide a framework for the student’s educational experience and for assessing student progress.

      1. Christian Character. This value emphasizes the need for students to cultivate a maturing Christian lifestyle and worldview. Such growth, maturity, and character formation for students encompass all aspects of life, including the intellectual, social, and physical habits of fitness and wellbeing.

      2. Christian Worldview. This value stresses the educational importance of the thoughtful integration of biblical truth by students into the totality of life experience and learning. Thus, biblical truth is not only a part but also a condition of general knowledge. Students are encouraged to develop a coherent view of contemporary issues from a biblical perspective.

      3. Effective Vocational Skills. Students must meet the requirements for effective service in their vocational pursuit, through study in organized fields of learning and practical experience. This value presupposes a vocational application of the students’ study to areas of community development, training of others, and management of ongoing enterprises. Likewise, this value anticipates a commitment to vocational currency, continuing education, and lifelong learning.

      4. Analytical and Creative Thinking. Students need to develop skills in critical and analytical thinking and to value the unity of truth. This value also presupposes the development of problem-solving techniques and research methodology, as well as ways of expressing ideas clearly, logically, thoughtfully, and persuasively through aesthetic, oral and written forms.

      5. Personal and Group Relationships. Students should grow in the area of understanding others and to become responsible, compassionate, and productive participants in society. This value pre-supposes service to society, family, and the church through personal example, leadership, and organizational skills.

      6. Social and Cultural Sensitivity. Students are encouraged to foster an understanding of both national and international cultures and to develop an appreciation for the richness and interdependence of multicultural communities. This anticipates a respect by students for the dignity of each person as a unique image-bearer of God.

Distinctive of Adult Education

The Dale Kietzman Academy academic program is designed primarily for adults engaged in their profession. Adult students learn in ways that are quite different than when they were younger. This program, therefore, will use these established principles of adult learning:

      1. Adult learners know what it is they need to know. This means that the student, rather than the professor, plays the major role in establishing learning goals.

      2. Adults learn best when they are forced to use the information learned in a real life situation.

      3. Adults learn best by focusing on only one or two courses at a time.

      4. Adult learners function best when proceeding at their own pace.

Student Attendance Policy

It is the privilege of the Dale Kietzman Academy to provide quality instruction in an environment where learning can flourish. In order to receive maximum benefit from the instructional program, students are expected to attend school regularly and be punctual each day and each class time of lecture for best learning. It is understood that good attendance positively impacts the learning process.

Good school attendance is so very important. School attendance very closely correlates with academic performance in schools; therefore, enforcing compulsory school attendance is everyone‘s job in both law enforcement and schools. We, as attendance workers must work hand in hand with law enforcement to keep students in school. If allowed to continue violating school attendance law, student will sooner or later become a dropout statistic. Every student deserves an education, and we must see that they attend school to get an appropriate education. School attendance workers have an important part in building our future.

1. Class Attendance

      • Regular and punctual attendance in classes is expected of all students at the Dale Kietzman Academy . Each faculty member is to state in writing to all students in a class the attendance policy for that class. The faculty member is the judge of whether the student has met the stated attendance requirements of the course. Class attendance is considered essential to the educational process. The Dale Kietzman Academy subscribes to the philosophy that academic success is directly proportional to class attendance.

      • It is important that students regularly and punctually attend all class sessions.

      • Attendance will be recorded from the first day the class meets through the final exam.

      • The professor must receive the names of students from the office of the Dale Kietzman Academy .

      • The professor must call attendance from those who have registered for every class.

      • The professor must verify the student through their ID and attendance record the first day.

      • The professor must announce the class policy to their students for the attendance of class.

      • The professor will report to the school office on those students who have missed two or more classes.

Recognizing that situations may arise to prevent a student from attending a class, the Dale Kietzman Academy will accommodate occasional absences but recommends that students who attend less than 80% of the scheduled class meetings submit a withdrawal request to the Dale Kietzman Academy Office according to the Withdrawal Procedures described in the Dale Kietzman Academy Academic Catalog.

Regular attendance and participation in schooling is an important factor in educational and life success. Students who are regular non-attendees are at risk of alienation from education that can lead to decreased options for future pathways.

All absences are unexcused except those caused by illness of the student, quarantine, death in the immediate family, recovery from an accident, required court attendance, educational tours and trips, and certain religious holidays. If a student is absent from school, his/her family should call the School office at (801) 410-0437, report the absence. It does not alleviate your responsibility to provide a written excuse, as directed in this policy. A student shall not be absent from school or from any other required school hours except for illness or other providential cause, unless with written permission of the teacher, or other duly authorized school official.

2. Unexcused Absence

A student, who is absent from school without legal excuse, will be marked as being unexcused for the period of each absence. Students will be notified of their responsibility for their unexcused absences by the proper school authority;

(a) The office of the Dale Kietzman Academy will also send a notice by mail to the students who have accumulated three absences from the class of school, informing them of the attendance policy and inviting them to contact the Dale Kietzman Academy Office to discuss the matter.

(b) An unexcused absence occurs when the student does not provide, within two (2) days after an absence, an explanatory note signed by the student or visitation by a physician, which satisfies the criteria for excused absence. After three (3) days unexcused absences from school or the class, an official notice of unexcused absence will be sent to the student. The notice will list the dates of unexcused absences and notify students that any further illegal absence constitutes a summary offense under the School Code.

3. Excused Absence

Excused absences may be granted for: illness, quarantine, death in the immediate family, impassable roads, school-sanctioned educational trips,

family trips, religious holidays, and exceptionally urgent reasons which affect the student and which do not include work at home. Absences for other reasons will be considered unexcused. For an absence to be excused, the student must send a note to the office of the Dale Kietzman Academy within two (2) day after each absence or the day of absence. Instructors may advise any student with excessive absences to withdraw from the course involved to protect the academic standing of the student. It is the student‘s responsibility to monitor absences and to comply with the instructor‘s syllabus concerning make up work. Failure to complete make up assignments or to withdraw when it is clear that the student cannot achieve an acceptable grade in the class may result in a low grade, including possibly an F based on grade performance in the course. Grades will not be raised or lowered based directly on attendance.

4. Appeals Process:

If a student disagrees with the assignment of an unexcused absence, a tardy or denial of permission to make up missed work, an appeal may be made to the Academic Dean. The appeal must be submitted in writing within one week of the incident.

5. Assignments:

Students are expected to spend two-three hours outside of class reading and/or studying the material or working problems for every hour spent in class. Students are required to read the chapters listed on the Assignment Outline. Lectures and class discussion will follow and supplement the text. Students should read the assignments before class, take notes during class, and follow up by reviewing and/or working related problems immediately after class. Many classes meet once a week and best results are realized when students study each class every day.

The student alone assumes responsibility for all absences. A student who presents the instructor with an adequate and documented reason for an absence normally will be given an opportunity to make up the work missed.

The responsibility for initiating the request to make up class work missed is vested in the student

      • Statement of Students with Disabilities

Students who require academic accommodations due to any physical, psychological, or learning disability should request assistance from the instructor within the first two weeks of class. Likewise, students who potentially require emergency medical attention due to any chronic health condition are encouraged to disclose this information to the instructor within the first two weeks of class.

PLENARY CODE OF CONDUCT

Traditionally, a code of conduct is a list of rules with consequences. The Board has stated the code of conduct of Dale Kietzman Academy in a way that reflects the grace of God. It is included in official publications. Trustees, administrators, faculty, staff, and students must agree to abide by the code and so state in writing. Dale Kietzman Academyaffirms that:

      • Each Christian is to be Christ like in attitude and action. This is neither automatic nor instantaneous, but a growth process. This Christ likeness does not come by observing certain outward expectations, but comes from within as the indwelling Spirit of God energizes the believer submitted to God (Romans 12:12; Philippians 2:1213). As believers walk in fellowship with the Lord, being controlled and enabled by the Holy Spirit, they are changed to be more and more like Him (2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 2: 1213, 1 John 1:47).

      • Believers are to glorify God in their bodies and are to live holy lives (1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Peter 1:13-16). Love toward God is evidenced by love for those without Christ (note Paul‘s example in 2 Corinthians 5:14 and Acts 18:5) and by love for fellow believers (1 John 3:16; 4:78).

      • Living by God‘s grace, believers are to avoid even the appearance (every form) of wrongdoing (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Believers are called to freedom, but this is not to be an opportunity for the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:13).

Individuals who, after spiritual instruction (Galatians 6:1), continue to dishonor the Lord by persisting in un-Christ like behavior or unruly conduct may, after due process, be dismissed from Dale Kietzman Academy (1 Thessalonians 5:14).

      • Student standards of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy

Dale Kietzman Academy are dedicated to the training of students who desire to seek their career in Christian ministry. It also takes an equally serious approach to developing Godly character and self-discipline in each student‘s life. Therefore, Dale Kietzman Academy expects its students to maintain the highest standards of Christian behavior.

This School may take disciplinary action against a student who violates the standard of personal and ethical conduct. These standards include the following:

      • Academic misconduct including, but not limited to plagiarism or cheating.

      • Use or possession of alcoholic beverage, illegal drugs or dangerous weapon on campus.

      • Sexual harassment or misconduct.

      • Giving false statements to the School regarding application for admission.

      • Theft of School or personal property.

      • Unauthorized use of the School property.

      • Hazing;

      • Use of vulgar or abusive language to the faculty or staff; and Obstruction or disruption of the educational process on or off campus.

Among those listed, an act of academic dishonesty is the most serious violation of student code of conduct. Definition of various forms of academic dishonesty is as follows:

a) Plagiarism: Knowingly or intentionally presenting the ideas, words or work of another as one‘s own.

b) Cheating: Unauthorized use of study aids, examination files or receiving unauthorized assistance in any academic exercise.

c) Fabrication: Falsification or invention of information concerning the student‘s background

      • The Ethical Conduct Committee

The Ethical Conduct Committee of the School, composed of faculty representatives, administrators and a representative from the School Student Association, is entrusted with the task of determining the disciplinary action. These actions include, but are not limited to:

a) verbal reprimand,

b) written reprimand

d) Salary cut

d) property restitution

e) temporary suspension, or

f) dismissal

Just as the School expects all employees to adhere to the conduct required of the students, the School also expects employees to adhere to the policies and procedures required for grievance resolution.

      • Grievance Resolution Policy and Procedures

It is the aim of the School to resolve all complaints, including but not limited to, grade disputes, alleged sexual harassment or any other form of complaints in a manner that is fair and just too all persons involved. For this end, it has been established the Grievance Committee, composed of representatives from faculty, administration and student government. The Academic Dean of Dale Kietzman Academy serves as the chair of the Grievance Committee.

All complaints against a faculty member or staff of the School, grade disputes, or disciplinary action taken against the student must be in writing. When preparing a formal appeal to the President with following information should be documented and submitted to the President.

      1. Nature of the Complaint or dispute;

      2. Date the alleged dispute or problem occurred;

      3. Names of the individuals involved; and

      4. Copies of all relevant documents.

The President‘s office for purpose of this procedure assumes a neutral role and is available to discuss the problem with the employee.

      • Intellectual, Property And Copyright Ownership

Patents, copyrights, trademarks and related academic or research interests are known as intellectual property.

Consistent with the United States Copyright Law, the School is provided ownership of property and copyrights to those works generated or made by Dale Kietzman Academy faculty or employees in the course and scope of the their employment within the School. Dale Kietzman Academy shall further own all copyrights to works made with the use of School resources.

Release of Dale Kietzman Academy Rights requires written authorization of the President.

This regulation applies to Dale Kietzman Academy employees, students, and other persons or entities using designated School facilities or acting under contractual arrangement with Dale Kietzman Academy for commissioned works.

      • Instructional Use Of Copyrighted Materials

The School recognizes that accomplishment of its mission may be facilitated by the use of works owned or created by others.

It is the policy of the School that students, employees, and other individuals who use School facilities and/or equipment, and students, employees, and other individuals who use off-campus non-School facilities and/or equipment in connection with School activities or on behalf of the School, shall recognize those accomplishments by respecting the intellectual property of others and using such works only to the extent such use would be permitted by law. For example, this policy applies when photocopying is undertaken at a commercial copying center, at a self-service, coin-operated machine in the library, or on any other reproduction equipment owned or leased by the School or used in connection with School activities or on behalf of the School.

Students, employees, and other individuals subject to this policy who use material originated by others, as a matter of policy, when using such materials, shall not infringe on those rights of the originator which are protected by copyright laws and shall secure permission to use or reproduce copyrighted works when such permission would be required under copyright law and/or pay royalties when such payment would be required.

      • Fair Use

Students, employees, and other individuals subject to this policy are expected to obtain permission from the copyright owners unless the intended use is clearly permitted under the doctrine of fair use.

Fair use shall not be abused.

Students, employees, and other individuals subject to this policy are expected to be selective and sparing in copying. The School does not condone copying instead of purchasing copyrighted works where such copying would constitute copyright infringement. For purposes of this policy copyrighted material means any work or intellectual property which may be subject to copyright under the laws of the United States. This includes, but is not limited to, literary works, including computer programs and compilations; musical works, including any accompanying words; dramatic works, including any accompanying music; pantomimes and choreographic works; pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works; motion pictures and other audiovisual works; and sound recordings.

For example, this policy applies to photocopying for classroom use, use of computer software, use of videocassettes, and off-air videotaping.

This policy is not intended to waive any rights, remedies, immunities, or defenses available to the School in the event of an infringement or alleged reserved. The president is authorized to establish procedures to implement this policy.

      • Intellectual Property

Dale Kietzman Academy fosters and supports a college environment that encourages creativity and development of new intellectual works in their various forms by its faculty and staff. In appropriate cases, with early disclosure of the effort, the School will recognize ownership in the creator(s) of the work with a right of the School to use the work for its educational mission and the development of its employees, and to participate in an appropriate royalty share in external marketing of the work by its creator(s). However, with respect to intellectual works that are created at the direction of the School to support administrative/non- instructional functions and other works specifically designated by the School, the School will generally retain ownership and rights to the work, subject to specific written agreements to the contrary.

GRADING SYSTEM

Students are required to achieve a C (2.0) average for graduation. The scale is given below:

An I is a temporary assignment and thus requires that a final grade be reported to the Dale Kietzman Academy registrar within two weeks after the close of the quarter. An I which remains on the student‘s record past the two- week period is given the grade that the student earned without the missing work.

Achieved the passing score 60. In some courses, a P will indicted a satisfactory completion of that course. P courses indicate that numerical equivalents are not being assigned.

SECURITY AND SAFETY

Dale Kietzman Academy is not responsible for personal items that might be damaged or lost on or about the premises.

Dale Kietzman Academy posted emergency map and emergency instructions each class rooms and each floor. In case of Fire, Bomb Threats, all students and faculty must get out of the Building. The administration office provides first aid. Emergency procedure instructions are available at all locations where classes are taught. The School also provides insurance through insurance company that covers liability throughout the facilities for bodily injury and property loss related to classroom activities.

In the event of a fire or medical emergency, notify the president‘s office and call 911 for immediately assistance.

If a fire occurs:

      • GET OUT, STAY OUT and CALL for help.

      • Remain calm

      • If you smell smoke, activate fire alarm

      • Follow exit route procedures for your location. Make sure to feel a door before opening. If it is hot, do not open it. Look for an alternate exit. If there is none, remain in the room and call for help. Close the door on your way out to help isolate the fire.

      • Assist those who are unable to exit the building on their own if it will not put you at additional risk

      • Do not use elevators

      • If the area you are in fills with smoke, drop to the floor and crawl to nearest exit or smoke free area

      • If your clothes catch on fire immediately STOP, DROP and ROLL

      • Once you are in a safe area, call for help

Medical Emergencies – In the event of a medical incident, the student should notify the present Administration member. The student should give the location of the emergency, cite some details of it, and identify himself. In the event of an Emergency, The student should call for help by dialing 911.
